Also, it's not like we had 100% balls to the walls commitment shown by our players. And a rookie player who had yet to play scores his first touch of the ball.

How exactly do they suck? They are one of the best teams in the cup. Belgium is arguably the best team, and U.S put up a good fight. Only reason why U.S lost against Germany is because Jozy Alditore did not play. I am disappointed, but they don't suck.

They don't suck in general, I'm saying that they sucked particularly in this game.

In the first half they did fine, in the second half they spent a majority of their time just defending instead of being on the offense. It's not until OT2 that they started playing really offensively like they should have played in the first place.

In football, a team can be completely dominant on the field but can still lose the game. Belgium was completely dominant after the first half of the game, but they were still very close to losing the game.
