Win as Cult Leader - 8 points (For every extra leader you begin with, each leader gets 2 less points)

Win as Benign Neutral (Executioner, Student, Survivor, Jester, Yuffie too! etc.) - 5 points

1) Cult Leader is hard enough as it is. There were too many things working against cult in the previous setup especially.
2) There is no category for special evil neutral. I personally think 7 is a good number for Special neutrals because most of those roles are similar to survivor and aren't particularly hard to win as.
3) Most of the time, citizens do nothing. Just because a handful of citizens played well in FM 7 i see no reason to improve the scores of people like oops and suicidaln00b for contributing next to nothing.
4) MVP is the only thing that hosts can use to differentiate the majority of people who win and the people who played exceedingly well. 12 is a good number because it shows that playing well is even better than winning as a killing neutral.

Sephiroth falls into Killing Neutral, so if Goon had won he would have gotten 10 points, which is greater than cult leader. I'm not going to budge on the Citizens one, but I might lower MVP points.

M-FM is not included in the points aggregate. I feel it is very important to limit its reach, M-FM was created for a very specific purpose and at the moment is providing a very entertaining side game while FMVI is in Night :)

So you bought tickets in advance but didn't know you would be using said tickets in advance so you couldn't predict you'd be using said tickets until after the game started even though you knew you were going on vacation before it started because you had tickets to go to another location... because you decided to go on vacation.

Fragos, I am grateful that you told me in advance so that I did not have to modkill you. A suicide, no matter what the reasons, is still a suicide. If I make an exception for you, then I have to do the same for everyone else. It just wouldn't be fair.

This is a consequence of you not checking your plans beforehand. Playing FM is a huge responsibility and you should be sure that you have the time for it before, during, and after, or be prepared to face the consequences.

Ultimately, it's just e-peen. Not really something you should worry about, just make sure you don't do it again.

The modkill rules were mentally retarded in FMX, so I assigned the role/point assignments to whichever role they were were most active with. Modkills were still relevant if the player AFK'd.

Points of Contention:
1) Lysergic receives town points, but not survivor points.
2) Ash received a modkill for a rule that was never specified in the rules. He will not recieve town points, but he will not receive modkill subtraction points either.
3) Goonswarm AFK'd after he knew all hope was lost. I view this as a suicide and not a modkill. Furthermore, I feel this suicide was justified, so I will not be subtracting any points from Goonswarm's score.
4) Claw will not get student points, because his primary account was FM Claw, and he will receive jester points for that.
5) I was dead-revived as Dimwit, and I specifically remember not reading any specification that newly revived members could not reveal where the journalist messages came from in the mafia dead chat. I'm sure Yayap edited the sticky to make it look like it had been there all along, but when I was dead it was not there. Thus, I did not realize it was against the rules to reveal to everyone where the dead messages came from. Furthermore, people should not be punished for rules that were never specified at the start of this game. This is a fundamental mistake that should never be repeated.
6) TheWaaagh gets the town win, but not the survivor points.

tl;dr: Three modkills were not justified so I had to modify the point subtractions regarding them and primary roles(most active) were taken into account for the points system.

Hey, its nothing against you personally. Everyone who did the same thing as you got the same punishment. I can't make exceptions for you just because you claim your issue was any more important than the others.

Fragos had to go on vacation, fred got caught up in his love life, and you had RL issues. I get that. It's a perfectly valid excuse, but its not one that should be left unpunished. If there is no punishment, people might think that its perfectly ok to just join FM and then expect to get out when something comes up with no consequences for their actions. Just don't do it again, and if you have to, don't sign up in the first place.

Of course, real life is more important than forum mafia so make sure you have your priorities straight. A red bolded suicide word on a thread on a site with 2k members isn't the end of the world.
