It'd be a good idea to give a list of secondary roles that can be received. It gives people a bit more insight on what they could get if they have a role with a secondary.

The Host is different than the game host, right?
Do factions line up more along the rule followers vs rule breakers or mafia vs town?

At night you may Silence a player, they must have the least posts. They may only vote and unvote twice.
You may only silence if you posted the least.

How can you silence the player who has posted the least, and be the player who had posted the least?

Just to clarify, the game ends when Secondary Win Conditions are met, and then you check Primary Win Conditions to see which are satisfied?

Everything looks in order information-wise, I just need to check for balance. This game should be approved within 3 to 5 business days

Just to clarify, the game ends when Secondary Win Conditions are met, and then you check Primary Win Conditions to see which are satisfied?

Yes, that is correct.

Except in the case of the Host modkilling two Rule Followers, then the game ends immediately in favor of all the rule breakers (living + non-living)

Orpz
May 22nd, 2015, 11:53 PM
The secondary role list is in Town's favor at a glance, but I trust you can distribute the Rule Breakers role cards and secondary role cards in such a way that the primary win conditions balance it out.

I did not find any other balance issues, but I have not ever encountered a setup like this before, so I might come up with new questions now and then.

Approved

You may post signups for this game or Election Day after PoD's game nears completion.

Ask the Host a Question: Each day, every player may PM me with a message to the host. The host may decide to answer yes or no to any of the questions asked. The host does not have to answer the questions he receives.
How does the host answer these?

In order to win you must see your target lynched or survive to the end. (You must decide on day 1)
This makes me ask if game starts in day 1 or night 1?

In order to win you must silence 2 players for 2 days.
Are these the same 2 people? Is it consecutive?
I'd like to say that this makes the Lurker really easy to win, and becomes really good for the mafia to have one.

You will be modkilled (by me) if you look for loopholes around Silence or the requirement to silence. A.K.A don't be an asshat.
What is wrong about waiting to silence someone? Are you required to silence when you can silence? Do you have to silence 2 people? Elaborate.

Consigulair
Consigliere
These are the same roles, right?

Drug Dealer
At night you may drug a target, giving them any feedback or removing any feedback they get.
You share a night chat with the rest of the mafia.
You may sacrifice your night action to act out the mafia kill.
Can there be more than one mafia role?
If yes, does drug dealer feedback remove also remove other drug dealer feedback?

In order to win Skypers must control more than half of the votes at any time.
The maximum amount of Skypers can be 5. I seriously doubt you'll put 5 in. Any less than 4 makes this role a bit underpowered.

Modkill a player at day or night. Killing them when day ends or night ends (whichever comes first) Modkill ignores redirection and immunity
Are players informed if they will be modkilled before it actually happens?

Jailor
Jail a player during the day.
You may only Jail following days in which a player was not lynched
They are removed from any night chat the following night.
They are prevented from acting that night, regardless of Immunity to role block.
They are prevented from taking damage from basic kills.
You may anonymous interrogate them.
You may Execute them.
You are limited too 1 execution.
Executions bypass all Invulnerability.
Captives are released at the start of the next day.
You may not Jail yourself
The Host can see Jailor night chats, right?

More questions will probably come later.

Are modkills instant, or do they happen at end of day/night?

Can host see night actions in time to modkill someone before they happen?

Does not revealing that you are silenced apply to the skypers chat?

Since one cannot reveal if one is silenced, does this also prohibit inquiring? (IE: "If you are silenced, please start your next post with a vowel. Otherwise, with a consonant.") How about discussion of silencing in general? IE: Can someone say, "hey, host, I think such and such is silenced, and the following players could have done it and should be watched, etc etc"

Are there any restrictions on the primary or secondary roles of the com hunter's target?

Are there any restrictions on the gamethrower's secondary role? (Can they be the neut killing?)

Can mafia factional kill target mafia?

Similarly, can vigs shoot themselves?

Does "posted less then half of the person that posted the most" apply to the previous day's posts, or to a cumulative number?

Does a modkilled rulebreaker win if host is deemed bad?

How does being modkilled interact with a luker/com hunter who already achieved their win condition?

Can you clarify as to whether the host and/or rule followers need the game to last a certain amount of time? I see it listed differently in the primary roles and win condition locations.

If they do need the game to last, is it until the start or end of day 4?

Is it possible to have more than one gamethrower? If so, can they have different alignments? (I am concerned about a situation where at least one rulebreaker winning is guaranteed.)

Given the track record of recent games, are we sticking to the 24 hour day/nights, or maybe going to 48?

Nope.

I will not allow it.

Are there any restrictions on the primary or secondary roles of the com hunter's target?

Nope

Are there any restrictions on the gamethrower's secondary role? (Can they be the neut killing?)

Nope

Can mafia factional kill target mafia?

If they want. Players can silently refuse being set for the factional kill via PM, Host will be notified however.

Similarly, can vigs shoot themselves?

Nope.

Does "posted less then half of the person that posted the most" apply to the previous day's posts, or to a cumulative number?

Previous Day's post

Does a modkilled rulebreaker win if host is deemed bad?

Yes.

How does being modkilled interact with a luker/com hunter who already achieved their win condition?

They will not win.

Can you clarify as to whether the host and/or rule followers need the game to last a certain amount of time? I see it listed differently in the primary roles and win condition locations.

They need it to last.

If they do need the game to last, is it until the start or end of day 4?

The end of day 4, be it by time running out or lynch.

Is it possible to have more than one gamethrower? If so, can they have different alignments? (I am concerned about a situation where at least one rulebreaker winning is guaranteed.)

Yes

Given the track record of recent games, are we sticking to the 24 hour day/nights, or maybe going to 48?

24 hour day/nights, unless I need it to be longer for logistical reasons.

Is modkilling lethal, or fun to recieve?

1). Game will only end when either 3 rulebreakers win, or 3 rulebreakers lose.
So, if the skype team consists of 3 or more skypers and they control 50% of the votes, game ends.
If the skype team has 2 people, it requires one more rulebreaker to win to meet the rulebreakers wincons.

2) You can ask him basically anything aslong as its a yes/no question, you can ask things like "Is SuperJack part of the Mafia" and he can either answer, yes or no. Or ignore it.

3)Modkillng is lethal, its dangerous, dont try this at home.
The host may also lie about the answer.

Did this ever get played a second time? This is one of the most fun games I ever played

If it hasn't been done a 2nd time, I'll re-host it

If it hadn't been experimental, I would have put it in the Ladder to be hosted again lol. It's glorious, and I'm sure people would sign for it if you were to rehost it.
