At a school 27 pupils wore red coats, 29 wore black coats and 40 wore blue coats. How many pupils were wearing green coats?

Bruno was the first to correctly answer how many pupils were wearing green coats!

Answer - The answer could be obtained by comparing red and 27, black and 29, blue and 40. such as (R = 18 ) + (E = 5) + (D = 4) which all adds up to 27! The pattern was A = 1, B = 2, C = 3, D = 4 so on and so forth for the rest of the alphabet. The total number of pupils wearing green coats was 49. G = 7, R = 18, E = 5, E = 5, N = 14, all totaling 49!

Well, I dunno about how many green coats, but I know there are 72 pupils that wore malachite coats, which is one my favorite shades of green.
