Editing the main page

At the moment the actual main page is rather dull to be honest. There's also some useless headings such as the updates are which should all be in a simple changelog page. It's sort of redundant to have a heading such as roles with all of the subcategories in this heading on the same page (I would actually advocate using the RoleNavigator here instead).

Additionally, there's some talk of adding things such as Terminology (I'd also like to be able to add things such as Variants and Mechanics) onto the Wiki, at the moment there's no logical place to put information like this where people will actually be able to find it.

Is there any way to obtain the rights to edit these pages? I can see a lot more potential here than is being utilized and would like to be able to fix these issues.

Now editing the main page is only not allowed for new and unregistered users. Older users can edit it.
