I'm writing this for newer players. Again I'm not that good at writing wiki code so I'm asking for feedback before I just put it up. Also if you have better names for the terms I'm explaining feel free to suggest.

Lynch or Lose: A situation where if you don't lynch someone non town members will gain at least half of the remaining people alive.

Mafia Equality: A situation where the mafia has 50% of the remaining people alive. In this situation if the mafia are cooperating with each other it is impossible to lynch a mafia member because they can just stall the people out and kill someone during the night.

Mafia Majority: A situation where the mafia has 50%+1 of the remaining people alive. In this situation the mafia can force a lynch on anyone during the day.

Kill or lose: in a situation of mafia equality or mafia majority a non mafia killing role (vigilante, serial killer, arsonist) can kill a mafia member to even up the conditions.

Mafia Killing Role: The mafia who will always kill someone. The killing role goes by priority. Highest priority is the mafioso (will pick one at random if there is more than one mafioso), Godfather. This is important if you a escort because you may be able to determine who is the killing role in the mafia if you block someone and there isn't a death or there is less deaths than normal.

By negating the mafia killing role you can negate the mafia's killing power under the right set of rules. Things to check are 1) does a cosigliere replace the godfather if he dies 2) does a non killing mafia role become a mafioso if alone 3) does the godfather need a mafioso to kill.

Stalmate: a situation where there is mafia equality and the mafia's killing power has been neutralized. If there is a stalmate after three turns of no one dying the game will end. (I have no idea of the win priority but I'm pretty sure the mafia will win over the town, though there was a heated partychat game where everyone seemed to think stalmate means the town wins).

Roleclaiming: The act of stating your role during the daychat. Common times to roleclaim are; if you are a sheriff, or investigator and have discovered a mafia member, if you are an escort who blocked someone and there was less deaths than normal, if you are doctor and there were less deaths than normal, if you are a spy and the mafia revealed something important in the mafia night chat, a survivor on the first turn, if you are on trial for being lynched.

Fake Roleclaiming: The act of roleclaiming a role you aren't really. When fake roleclaiming it is important to know eqivalent roles that an investigator will see you as. The Equivalent roles are: doctor/serial killer, investigator/cosigliere, vigilante/mafioso, escort/consort non suspicous/godfather immune to detection, survivor/godfather with night immunity, bus driver/arsonist.

Roleclaiming notes:
-if you roleclaim doctor you run a high risk being killed the following night by the mafia since a doctor can protect a sheriff or investigator who roleclaims which is very harmful to the mafia.
-If you roleclaim sheriff or investigator than you run a moderatly high risk of being targeted if there are doctors alive and an extremly high risk of being killed if there are no doctors alive.
-if you roleclaim survivor a stragety some town members will use to prove it is for a vigilante to shoot you and burn a vest and a shot.

Random Lynching: An occurance where someone will be put on trial without any presented evidence. It is important to know the odds of random lynching as in the early game you are more than likely going to lynch a town member however sometimes a random lynch is nessecary in the later stages of the game. Common defences for a random lynching are saying that it is a random lynch and not to be stupid or roleclaiming. Town members may become suspicous of you if you vote guilty on a random lynching.

Ratting: When a mafia member who has been lynched states other members of the mafia in his last words or last will. Ratting is considered by most people to be bad manner
s.
Fake Ratting: When a mafia member who has been lynched states other members of the mafia in his last words or last will. Fake ratting is a lot more common than ratting and because of this people may become less suspicous of the person being ratted.

Spy Chat: The mafia will generally alter their nightchat stragety if they know there is a spy in the game. Most mafia members will try to chat without actually revealing names and may pretend to slip up in order to try and get someone lynched. This, the mafia will be less coordinated because of this however because of Spychat the spy role can reveal a lot more if selected from random town or random any.

Someone wins. Not necessarily the town.

Only if the town out number everyone else.

lol I don't know I'll need to get a test group together to test the stalmate system unless Dark Reverant can just tell us the tiebreaking system he programmed. I have no idea how complicated it is I'm a writer not a programmer.

updated. Can't think of anything more relevant, if there isn't any objections or modifications anyone brings up I'll put it up on the wiki in the next couple days

Basically it picks whoever has the majority. Ties are settled in this order:

SK
Arsonist
Mafia/Witch
Town

priority is fine. I will revise to include the tiebreaker system. I tried adding this stuff to the wiki but I would need some sort of terminology section and the main page is source protected.

Alot of people have been complaining that Arsonist is not powerful as Sk. 1 thing which might slightly even things out would to make it so that in a tiebreaker, Arsonist will win above Sk.

Great job :)

May I suggest addding the corresponding acronyms:

LYLO (Lynch or Lose)
MYLO (Mislynch and Lose)
ML (Mislynch)
NL (No Lynch)
RL (Random Lynch)
CC (Counter-claim)

and introducing those notions as well:

Counter-claim (http://wiki.epicmafia.com/index.php?title=Counter-claim)
Joint Win (http://wiki.epicmafia.com/index.php?title=Joint_Win)
Massclaim (http://wiki.epicmafia.com/index.php?title=Massclaim)
