These are pretty straight forward.

I propose that Crier be made a unique role like the Mayor.
-Having 2 criers is very annoying at night
-It is very OP for town to have 2 players that can self confirm their roles

I also propose that the Janitor be able to clean a players role from a lynch. Example:
Janitor cleans 'Player X' N2. D3 starts and 'Player X' is lynched. 'Player X' role could not be identified.
-This would be tough to pull off as mafia and require coordination
-This would make coroners more useful
-This would make for more interesting mafia plays and promote skill over leaning on power roles.

Crier was voted for.
The community (at that time) brought the Crier upon themselves.

I feel the crier is a great role. But should be limited to 1 crier per game.

I would ask the community that is active now to express support for this.

I don't think that crier is that op, you can just make sure that he will not appear twice in your save.

And as to the janitor: I like that, certainly would add some more ways to play him.

the thing is, given a few nights, you can make (nearly) every power role confirmable.
think BD, escort, jailor, vigilante, veteran

Correct. The issue is that you have 9 eventually-confirmable roles fighting up to 5 evil roles.

Escort & Jailor aren't confirmed, as there are Mafia roles that are basically the same. Also, a Vigilante and Veteran can easily be cc'd x.x

Escort and Jailor just need Mafia roles to die. Then the claim is easy.

Confirmed town roles after the entire Mafia is dead doesn't seem game breaking to me

most games have support and deception. soon as one of those dies, they are insta-confirmed towns. thats what slaol means
and vigilante can announce his claim beforehand
vet is proven through last wills.
every town power role is pretty easily confirmed. thats why sc2 setups are ridiculous

If Vigilante announces beforehand, kidnapper kinda easily gets a free kill on a vig, making it stupid to do such a thing.

No role (except crier/mayor/marshall) is really confirmed because someone can always cc them, regardless of their role.

Roles that give feedback are harder to cc, but definitely not impossible. BD gives feedback x2, so it's x2 as hard to cc lol.

most of it is true but pub will eat it up 99% of the time if you calim a role and somehow prove it, ive seens executioners and jesters and other ranodom nurtals become a "confirmed" riff or some role becasue they found a mafia or something

^ People always say that SC builds are so unbalanced but why is it you can have a super OP town and have mafia/NK wins? Because people make mistakes and when you have 20 seconds to build a case against someone with 15 other players talking you have to resort to 'Barney style points'
Example:
Player 1: 'I'm lookout, 6 visited 1. 6 is GF'
Player 6: 'I'm Doc, 1 is Exe'

Everything is simplified and run at a fast pace which makes it easier to miss things or control what other players think. If you took any forum setup you could still have pro players and town would always loose with 30 second days. You just cant expect people to be through at that speed.

As such SC builds are balanced to take account of the lack of time and much more varied player skill.

Implemented the Crier thing, but not the Janitor thing.
