View Full Version : Double Jailor on SK

There were two jailors in a game. We unintentionally jailed the same person (one jailor was a random town, and not announced). We jailed the SK and released him unharmed. Now I do not think it would necessarily be a good thing for a SK to kill both Jailors if he was released. However, I did not see this mentioned anywhere else in the forum.

Agree there shouldn't be any kills at all.

Jailor A jails SK.

Jailor B jails SK + Jailor A.

[ Jailor B jails [ Jailor A in the cell with SK ] ]

Since there are two cells:

Jailor B can agree to let jailor A exe / prevents SK kill as the cell is under his supervision / spies on the conversation.

Jailor isn't classified as a roleblocker I think.. is it?

SK only kills escorts/consorts if that option is checked, not jailors.

As far as I'm aware anyway.

SK will kill Jailors if his anti-RB option is enabled and the Jailor chooses not to execute.

Jailor is the ultimate roleblocker, thats what the description says. So i think that qualifies as a roleblocker.

That doesn't make sense. A jailor cannot jail two people. Jailor B can either jail Jailor A, which would probably mean that the SK doesn't get jailed or he can jail the SK.
If they jail the same person they don't supervise each other or something, they can both decide to execute or release. If they both decide to release, the SK will turn around and kill them both.

Wrong. Darth.

What Happened was both Jailors jailed the SK. We saw each other talking. Which surprised me. I don't think that is an issue. We released the SK believing he was a doctor. It did not kill either of us. I believe the kill role blockers was on, however, I am not 100% certain as it was not my save.

This is pretty much the exact opposite of what you have surmised.. However. What Fallacy suggested. Was... wrong.

If kill role blockers was on, both jailers should have died, unless SK can only kill one role blocker a night, which I don't think to be true.

Then I will assume that kill roleblockers was off.

This occurred again. The SK was double Jailed and set to kill role blockers. One jailor did die that night, but to the mafia.

I've just had a similar thing happen to me when I was jailed and role blocked by an escort as the sk. Neither died although the "sk kills role blockers" option was ON.

Is this just game mechanics that if 2 people block the sk neither will die or is this a bug? I had a quick look through the replay and I don't see anything else that could have prevented them dying.

Jailor is called a "perfect" roleblock

per·fect (pûrhttp://img.tfd.com/hm/GIF/prime.giffhttp://img.tfd.com/hm/GIF/ibreve.gifkt)adj.1. Lacking nothing essential to the whole; complete of its nature or kind.
2. Being without defect or blemish: a perfect specimen.
3. Thoroughly skilled or talented in a certain field or area; proficient.
4. Completely suited for a particular purpose or situation: She was the perfect actress for the part.
5. a. Completely corresponding to a description, standard, or type: a perfect circle; a perfect gentleman.
b. Accurately reproducing an original: a perfect copy of the painting.

6. Complete; thorough; utter: a perfect fool.
7. Pure; undiluted; unmixed: perfect red.
8. Excellent and delightful in all respects: a perfect day.

aka it blocks the backlash kill as well in a sense

Unless it has been changed in the last couple of months, sks will kill a jailor who has jailed them.

waat.. SK's can kill two jailors at once?? THAT'S BADASS. The SK deserves to get two badass kills at once if he was so skillful of a player to get jailed two times in a row because of how scummy/lucky he was and get out alive.

I think if a Serial Killer gets double blocked, however (2Jailor, 1Jailor & 1Escort, 2 Escorts), he isnt able to perform any kill.

If settings says sk kills roleblockers, then it is fair that the sk should kill role blockers.

I don't think Jailer RB is the type of RB the SK is set to kill.
Considering, the jailer would be a very dumb jailer if he failed to set safe guards in case the prisoner was REALLY pissed?

The option was probably to make the SK a guy that was soooo addicted to killing, even the escorts were....sliced.
