Saw this on reddit, deep buried in the new topics.

Step 1: Click this http://amd4u.com/dirt3promo/keys/

Step 2: Enter code on Steam

Step 3: Play Dirt 3 free

Not sure how, you are using a code from a product that was legitimately purchased. I highly doubt that happening.

Edit: I never really pirate games, I always buy them. This is official and Steam is not paying for the game, AMD is. So it would make no sense for Steam to ban. Plus, how the fuck would you ever determine legit from fake??? I see repercussions from this being nonexistent.

Yea the codes were on some AMD server with horribad security and millions of codes (I think 3.5 million) were hacked. The list is just a list of all the codes that are indexed.

I am paranoid so I put in a steam ticket asking them to remove the game if it turned out to be an issue as I "won it via a forum contest". So if for some stupid fucking reason they decide to do anything, I have my bases covered.

If you visit http://amd4u.com you can see it's a promotion for new ati owners, but probably they were so smart they put all the keys in a public folder and they got busted.

Also screw ati, I got an nvidia :D

I could Valve making a HUGE FUCKING STINK over this if it was linked to a game they developed/released. Dirt 3 is listed as a 3rd party steam game, and thus I see no reason for them to give a single fuck since amd's shit got hacked.
