In this game, players can select Powers.

Before the game starts, everyone will receive a faction.
They can only vote to become powers that contains their respective faction.

There's a maximun of 2 players per power and each role is unique.

Status : Sheriff / Framer

Sheriff: Target someone each night to check them.
- Town & Neutral Benign : Good
- Mafia & Neutral Killing : EvilFramer: Target someone each night to frame.
- Target is always shown Evil to Sheriff.
- If there's an evil living like Arsonist it will be shown as Lunatic: Pyro/Arsonist/Jester, to Investigators.
- Evil living roles : Neutral Killer and all the mafia, the framing is random between these.

Investigator / Consigliere
- Both : Target someone each night to see their powers.

- If the target is attacked and healed for real, the fake feedback won't take place.
- Can target self.

Detective / Spy
Detective: Target someone each night to see who the target has visited.
- Cannot see who the Jailor has targeted.
- Bus Driver will be seen visiting his first target of two.
- Targets not visiting anyone will be seen visiting themselves.
Spy: Target someone each night to see who the target was visited by.
- Cannot see who was targeted by the Jailor.
- Bus Driver will be seen visiting his first target of two.
- Targets not visiting anyone will be seen visiting themselves.
- May chose an additional target to share feedback with for that night, anonymously.

Pyro / Arsonist / Jester
Pyro : Target one at night to douse them.
- The doused victim will be burned after three days, cannot target someone else while someone is doused.
- Burns ignore all immunity.
- The Pyro can undouse himself or his doused victim.Arsonist : Target one each night to douse them, or to burn all previously doused.
- Will burn the Pyro's doused target.
- Burns ignore all immunity.
- The Arsonist can single-target undouse anyone including himself.
- The Arsonist has two auto-use vests that prevents all gunshot attacks.Jester : Target one each night to visit them. Get lynched in order to win.

Vigilante / Serial Murder / Mafioso
Vigilante : Target one each night to Gunshot Attack them.Serial Murder : Target one each night to Gunshot Attack them.
- Serial Murder has two auto-use vest that prevents all gunshot attacks.Mafioso : Target one each night to Gunshot Attack them.
- Mafioso has a single auto-use vest that prevents all gunshot attacks.

Jailor / Kidnapper
Jailor : Target one at day, jailing them at end of day if there is no lynch.
- Target is perfectly roleblocked and will share an anonymous nightchat with the Jailor.
- The Jailor can execute once.
- If both the Jailor and Kidnapper jails the same target, all three will receive a night chat with anonymous names.Kidnapper : Target one at day, jailing them at end of day.
- Target is perfectly roleblocked and will share an anonymous nightchat with the Kidnapper.
- The Kidnapper can't execute by himself.
- If both the Jailor and Kidnapper jails the same target, all three will receive a night chat with anonymous names.
- The Kidnapper can initiate the Jailor's Execute if both jails the same target.

Wizard / Witch
- Both: Target someone each night to redirect them to target someone else. Can self target.
- Can cause the target to target themselves.
- Cannot make themselves visit another.
- Targeting a jailor to target himself or his jailed victim, will cause the Jailor to use his execute.
- Wizard targeting Witch, or Witch targeting Wizard, their action will be ignored.

Bus Driver / Uncertificated Bus Driver / Thief
Uncertificated / Bus Driver : Target two each night to switch their positions. Can self target.
- Immune to Witch and Wizard.Thief: Target someone at night to steal all of their feedback for that night.
- The target will be notified that they have no feedback.
- The Thief will receive all of the stolen feedback.
- May chose an additional target to share feedback with for that night, anonymously.

Escort / Consort / Survivor
-Escort & Consort : Target someone each night to roleblock them.
- Escort and Consort can be roleblocked.Survivor : Has three manual vests to block all gunshot attacks.

Feedback :

- You have become doused.
- You have become undoused.
- You were attacked and healed.
- You were attacked, but you're immune.
- You have become bus driven.
- You were roleblocked.
- You were forced to target someone.
- Your target has visited <>.
- Your target was visited by <>.
- Your target is Evil.
- Your target is Good.
- Your target is of the power <>.
- There is no feedback for this night.



Daychat :
- Target has been shot. (Start of day)
- Target has been shot multiple times. (Start of day)
- Target has become burned. (Start of day)
- Target has become lynched. (End of day)
- The Day has been skipped. (End of Day)



Mechanics :

Mafia :
- If the Mafia does not have a Mafioso, one of them may have to kill instead of using their role ability.

Powers :
- Game starts at Night 0 with everyone's faction chosen.
- At Night 0, each player must vote for a power, the power must include their faction's role.
- There's max of two of each power, but there's only max one of each role.
- Not voting for a power is discouraged, a warning given and forced a random vote.
- Excess votes (Above 2) for a power, will be randomed.

Last Will :
- You may write a Last Will, or to request it to be deleted.
- It will be shown when you die, may it be lynch - burn or gunshot.

Death Description :
- Vigilante, Serial and Mafia will all have an identical gunshot kill.
- Pyro and Arsonist will both have an identical fire kill.
- There's no special "bus driver death" or "witch kill". If killing role targets self, killing role will be gunshot attacked.

Win Conditions :
- Town wins when Mafia and Neutral Killer is dead.
- Mafia wins when the Neutral Killer and the Town is dead.
- Neutral Benign will win if they survive with the winning faction.
- Jester wins when lynched, and loses when surviving or killed lynch-less.

Extra Win Conditions :
- Jester will win when lynched. No one dies from grief.
- Arsonist can win by burning absolutely everyone including himself. "No one wins".
- Mafia will win a 1v1 situation versus Town, Neutral Killer will win all 1v1 situations.

Day / Night / Lynch :
- Day and Night will always start and end at the same set times.
- A lynch requires majority of votes (Above 50%).
- Lynches will not end the day early.
--- Lynched victim may talk, lynch unofficial until the end of day when role and LW is shown.



Rules :

No editing or deleting of posts.

Questions in Green.

Votes must have [Vote] code in order to count.

You must submit a night action to me, even if you're not going to do anything.

Reserves for replacement is encouraged, but high offenses are always considered modkill.

No high-level lurking.
- I consider lurking when no posts, only does night action. Have at least +3 posts at day.

No outside of game communication.
- No skype, rep or PM. You can only post in the game thread or provided night chats.

Host meta however: A confirmed neutral killer will be included one way or another.

As for the 1v1 thing, thanks for pointing that out. No idea why, those were swapped. Mafia->Town. :|

This is not agreeable.

Using the mechanics and restrictions to role selection you have posted:

In this game, players can chose a Power.
There's a maximun two of each power, but all roles are unique.

If more than three votes for a power, random generation will occur.
Those that didn't make it for the vote of power, will have a random power that has either a single or none votes.

Powers :
- Game starts at Night 1, you must vote for the power. (No night actions N1)
- Failing to vote will give a warning and a random power selection.
- There's max of two of each power, but there's only max one of each role. (Mafia Excluded)
it's technically possible that no evils at all exist in the game.

You state that roles will only be randomised if there's more than 2 votes for their pairing or more than 1 of a role. But in order to force the faction composition you want, you may have to give someone a different role even if they would - according to the listed mechanics - be given the role that they voted for.

Example:

In this list, all votes are legitimate within the established rules. It may not be entirely realistic to think that this will happen, but it's possible nonetheless.


Therefore, I suggest getting back on the idea to have everyone factionless at the start of the game, and assign everyone a faction before they can choose a role. And that they have to vote a role that matches their faction or have their role randomised if they don't.


These two lines contradict each other:

There's a maximun two of each power, but all roles are unique.

If more than three votes for a power, random generation will occur.
If there's a maximum of two, the second line should say "if more than two..." or "if three or more..."

If jailor and kidnapper jail the same target, do they get into a chat with all 3 of them or 2 separate chats?

Do investigator/consigliere see the target's exact powers or do they get to see Status/Investigation/Heal/Stalking/Lunatic/Killing/Jailing/Control/Confusion/Support?

Are there any actions a detective or spy don't see? Jailing for instance.

What feedback does a sheriff get if his target is a benign neutral?

What are the win conditions for Spy/Witch/Thief/Survivor?

Is the survivor permanently immune? i.e. he can only be lynched?

Can a Pyro only have one doused target at a time? Does he have to wait until his target dies to douse another?

Is undousing possible?

Would an Arsonist burn players doused by a Pyro?


- Mafia Killer: Sacrifices it's original role's night action to instead attack a target at night.

What original night action? Aren't they essentially a mafioso if they pick this?

Are there any death types that can't be healed?

Are there any attacks that ignore immunities?

Can the Surgeon heal himself?

Can Witch/Wizard cause self targets?


- Wizard / Witch controls
What happens if a wizard and a witch control each other?

Does a thief stealing feedback get to see the feedback they stole?

Why does the Thief appear twice on the OoO?


- Wizard / Witch controls

- Bus Driver switches

I have changed the whole game, added more information and clarified as much I could.

Questions :
- What is your opinion of changing a few Neutral Benign to Neutral Evil? Will it cause disbalance?
- Should a role have anything added? Buff, nerf?



I have changed the OoO completely, it is as seen.



As for the Powers and Roles, I will always make a setup legit. (Host meta)
It won't be direct handpicking, but making sure that the random generations will make a legit setup for the game.

The balance is already shaky at best. If the last benign/town is a neutral, the town can lose their voting majority after the first night.

Vigilante is not particularly strong with all the vests and immunities unless it's intended as a detection role.

Survivor looks quite strong. Not sure how to tune it aside from making it a standard vest user.

Must they survive?
Yes, Neutral Benign must survive. Adding additional information to win conditions.

It is a trust thing with Neutral, since they win with the winning faction.
Spy can fake as a Detective, tell them he's Neutral lookout.
Thief can confuse the town, prevent information, share them and tell he's Neutral, or lie as another role.

If you need different win conditions for them, feel free to suggest what would make it seem fair.

Agreed, Kidnapper will be allowed to jail on lynch days.
Question: Should Kidnapper be able to be sendt for the kill if he jails?

It can be served as a "detection role", but the NK and Mafia that has vests are both vulnerable after a certain amount of attacks from either side.
Since there's the 2X limit of powers, there can be Vigilante, Mafioso & Arsonist, or Vigilante, Non-killing Mafia (no vest) and Serial.



Survivor looks quite strong. Not sure how to tune it aside from making it a standard vest user.
Survivor has been nerfed by having 3 on-use vests.

Since he's last in the OoO, there's not a single feedback that escapes.
The Thief would of course, have two sepperate boxes. The first for actual feedback, the other for stolen feedback.

The thief targeting himself, his actions ignored.

The Detective will see the Bus Driver visiting his first target out of two.



If a witch/wizard targets a bus driver or jailor, what happens?
They will make the Bus Driver visit someone, but not actually changing the bus-swapping due to complex calculations.

The Bus Driver will only switch the position of two, visiting the first one of two by default as shown to Detective / Lookout.

Originally, a forced redirect would make the Bus Driver's visiting of the "First One" to a different player even though the switches still take place. This is to make confusion to Detective and Lookout.

However, I may consider just having the witch/wizard's action ignored when targeting a bus driver, because this starts to look stupid.

After writing a wall of text explaining the random generation, I have found a massive flaw.
