Meta is a weapon, but a weapon that seems more and more useless as role calls and improper meta are taking over. WIFOM no longer means what it originally did, and who needs WIFOM in troll setups. I wanted to come up with a game that would test people's ability to know what the game around them actually was doing. Where people were going. Who was who behind the mask. To hopefully usher in a time of hosts being the mastermind behind the chaos, not just the referee.
I wanted to do something bigger. I wanted to do something better. I came up with this. A true gauntlet for the players.

Mechanics
Who is who?: COM accounts will be used for the first day and night. After this point anonymous account will be given out. Each time there is a lynch anonymous accounts will be shuffled among the players. Night actions will impact the player owning the account the day before the night action.
Memory loss: In the darkness it is hard to remember what happened without visual cues. All anonymous days will be deleted the next day. Keep your notes up to date.
Pitch Black: Not much is visible in the darkness... Codes to confirm ones self the following day are disallowed. As well, quoting previous days directly is disallowed.
True Clue: Lynched and killed players COM and Role are hidden after death.

LURE a target to you at night. All those that visit you will instead effect them. You start with 1 charge, and gain 1 charge every 2 nights. You may be sent for the Mafia factional kill.

PUMMEL a target at night. You will kill them, disregarding all immunities. You have 1 charge. You may be sent for the Mafia factional kill.
Caporegime
RETRAIN a fellow Mafia member at night. They will become your choice of new Mafia role. This change occupies you for 2 nights, and prevents them from using their ability the second night. You may change whom you are retraining on the second night to restart the timer. You may be sent for the Mafia factional kill if not retraining. You may retrain yourself, but will permanently lose the ability to retrain.
Chauffeur
SWAP two targets at night. Those that visit one will effect the other. You may be sent for the Mafia factional kill.
Consigliere
INVESTIGATE a player at night. You learn their exact role. You may be sent for the Mafia factional kill.
Consort
BLOCK a player at night. They are prevented from acting. You are immune to blocking. You may be sent for the Mafia factional kill.
Framer
FRAME a player at night. They will appear as Mafia to Sheriffs, and appear to have visited the Mafia kill to Detectives. You may also, instead, FORGE a player's Last Will. This will change their Last Will to your forge, and will remain until you forge a different player. You may be sent for the Mafia factional kill.
Godfather
KILL a player at night, or send a Mafia member for the factional kill. You are invisible to Sheriff and Detective detection. You are invulnerable to night attacks. You are immune to blocking.
Grounds Keeper
DISPOSE of a dead body at night, earning a 1-use charge of their ability. OR use any 1-use charge you had previously found on a disposed of target. You may be sent for the Mafia factional kill.
Kidnapper
KIDNAP a target during the day if there is no lynch. You will take them to a private room, sharing a night chat with them. You may execute your kidnapped target 1 time. You may be sent for the Mafia factional kill if not in a kidnap chat.
Tracker
TRACK a target at night. You learn whom they visit, and which anonymous account is theirs the next day. You may be sent for the Mafia factional kill.

GUARD a player at night. You will kill all attackers if they are attacked, and die in their place.
Bus Driver
SWAP two players at night. Those that visit one player will effect the other.
Citizen
Leave a last will that will be public upon death.
Coroner
AUTOPSY a dead player. You learning their role, all previous anonymous accounts, all night targets, and their last will.
Detective
TRACK a player. You detect whom they visit that night, and which anonymous account is theirs the next day.
Doctor
PROTECT a player at night. You save them from any and all night attacks.
Escort
BLOCK a player at night. They are prevented from acting. You detect immunity to role block.
Jailor
JAIL a target during the day if there is no lynch. You will take them to a private room, sharing a night chat with them. You may execute them. You have 3 executions.
Journalist
INTERVIEW a player at day. They will post an article the next morning anonymously.
Mason
MEET a player at night, revealing yourself to them. If they are Citizen they will be confirmed to you. If they are a Cultist you will kill them.
Nurse
INJECT a player with adrenaline at night. They may use their action twice the following night.
Sheriff
CHECK a player for their alignment at night.
Vigilante
SHOOT a player at night. You have 3 shots.

Butcher
STALK a player and kill whom they visit.
Chairman
INVITE a player to a night chat with you. You may talk with them that night.
Corrupt Journalist
INTERVIEW a player during the day. They will post an anonymous article the next morning.
Cultist
CONVERT a player every other night. They become a Cultist.
Insane Sheriff
CHECK a player for their flipped alignment. You receive the Sheriff role card.
Joker
MARK a player by posted an anonymous article pushing their lynch. If your mark is not lynched within 2 days you will kill 2 people the following night.
Mass Murderer
SPREE at a player's house, killing all visitors, and the target if they do not leave their house. You are invulnerable to night death.
Serial Killer
MURDER a player at night. You kill role blockers. You are invulnerable to night death.
Witch
MANIPULATE a player to visit another player.

Beast
You are immune to night death. If you are alive after 4 days the game ends and you win.
Executioner
Invulnerability to night death after your target is lynched. You become a Jester upon failure.
Infestor
INFEST a target on the first night, making them your Host. You will enter their body at night, detect all visiting role types and sharing a night chat with your host. Each day you will leave the body. You will both be made aware the anonymous account the other is using.
Jester
Kill 1/5 of players upon your lynch. Grief kill is rounded down.
Fun facts
There will be no noticeable difference between Architect, Jailor, Kidnapper, or Chairman
There will be no noticeable difference between Journalist, Joker, or Corrupt Journalist
There will be no death descriptions. Meaning a Jester grief, and an Arsonist lighting up/Joker letting loose will appear the same, should the kill amount match up.
Beguiler will act before Witching or Role Blocking
Caporegime may change his own role, but it can not be undone
Chauffeur may select to not include his feedback
Consort and Escort will prevent the changing of anonymous accounts by a player (this has no effect night 1)
Godfather may select to remain as the same anonymous account
Grounds Keeper disposing of bodies may choose to remove the body from the hosts day start posts by manipulating the 'dead players' list.
