I'm assuming this is a bug, because the last 3 mafia games I have tried to join have sent me directly to the game map after the game is launched from the lobby, as if it were a normal SC2 game. There is no in-game setup lobby or anything, though I assume that's where everyone else is. The regular terran SC2 music starts to play and I'm looking at the fog of war of the town map. The HUD is the same as a normal SC2 game. I can type, but can't see it or anyone else's chat. I tried waiting for a few minutes to see if the game would start...but nothing happened.
Is this some sort of punishment for leaving a game early? Because right before that I hosted a public game that was full of trolls..making it impossible to type anything because of how fast it went off the chat screen as well as many random lynches. So I quit.
