I think it is about time we had an MVP caliber host. Not the little 'time keeper' we had on FM XVI.
I played a version of this with the kids I work with at my after school group. Posted about it in Mafia Discussion and someone mentioned this as an FM. So I decided to do it finally.

Theme is Slenderman.

Setup:
Evil
Slenderman (Mass Murderer) - Visit someone at night and kill all those visiting the target.
Witch (Witch) - Manipulate someone and change who they visit. Town is not alerted. Slenderman and the Witch will receive an alert if the Witch manipulates Slenderman.
Jester (Jester) - Can move at night. Kills remaining Citizens if lynched. If no Citizens remain the Jester is allowed to choose a kill with their Last Will. For this purpose the Jester Last Will will be treated like a night action. Should this kill select be a scum the scum will survive.

Town
Detective (Detective) - Track someone to see who they visit. You may choose to follow that person to their target.
Detective (Detective) - Track someone to see who they visit. You may choose to follow that person to their target.
Doctor (Doctor) - Visit someone and save that person from Slenderman.
Escort (Escort) - Visit someone, prevent them from either acting or moving.
Escort (Escort) - Visit someone, prevent them from either acting or moving.
Citizen (Citizen) - You may move at night.
Citizen (Citizen) - You may move at night.

Special Mechanic
Notes: Notes will be found each night. Notes will represent the number of people visited. If a single person is visited by more than one person it will appear as a single note.
Scum: Scum wins together, and Jester may win if he or she is alive or dead. The lynch only allowing scum to gain 2 kills over the Citizens. Witch and Jester are both immune to Slenderman.
PMs: PMs will be allowed through myself, like in Creed's recent S-FM, but must be written as if they are a letter or note. You may also 'sign' your letter as if you are any playing member. However, mail may only be sent during the first half of the day, the 'morning', and will be received sometime the next 'morning'.

Other things:

Game will cycle at about midnight Central 'Murican Time.
Game will start at day for discussion. No lynch.
Day should be 24 hours.
Night actions should be in asap to avoid mass host failure due to Mass Murderer mechanic confusion. But your deadline is 1 hour before night ends.
Nights should be 24 hours. They may be cut short if I receive all actions.
Days will always end when they were planned to end, even if night is cut short.
Votes will use the new system.
No outside communication.
Last wills are allowed and encouraged.
Nothing looks scummier than an edited post. Don't do it.
Questions.
Answeres.
I reserve the right to modkill myself if I don't do well.

Hope it is liked!

Role cards and OoO.

Slenderman - Select someone at night. You will visit them and kill everyone that chose to be at that target at night. If the person you select does not choose to move or anyone visits the person you target everyone 'there' will die. You may not visit yourself. You can not kill the Witch or the Jester.

Witch - Select someone at night, and manipulate who they target. Your target will also visit their new target. No one receives an alert to being Manipulated except for the Slenderman. If you target Slenderman you will also be alerted.

Jester - Jesters may move at night to appear to be a Town role. Jester may win while alive, but if he is lynched he will either

Kill all remaining Citizens.
Kill a target he leaves in his Last Will.

If Citizens remain he will kill them, if no Citizens remain his last will target will be killed. He can, however, not kill Slenderman or the Witch.

Detectives - You will track someone and learn who they visit. You will be allowed the option to choose (before hand) if you will follow them to their target or not.

Doctor - You will heal someone if they are attacked by Slenderman. You will not have to die to do so.

Escort - You will block someone at night. You may either choose to stop them from using their night power, or from moving.

Citizens - You may move at night.

Role Blockers if Blocking Witch or Role Blockers
Witch

Doctor

If killed by Slenderman: You were murdered by Slenderman last night!
If blocked of action: You were role blocked night!
If blocked of movement: You were role blocked last night!
If Witch finds Slenderman: You manipulated the Slenderman last night!
If Slenderman is manipulated: You were manipulated by a Witch last night!
Detective information: Your target spent the night at ____'s house last night!

Can you clarify this:

Notes: Notes will be found each night. Notes will represent the number of people visited. If a single person is visited by more 2, 3, 4, etc. people it will still come up as a single note.

Can you clarify this:

In Slender people find little notes with messages on them as Slenderman tracks them.

Each day start message will include the information that X notes were found. The notes will appear if one of the players is visited, but only 1 per VISITED player. Thus if more players huddle to a single target for warmth only one will be found on that targeted player.

It is a piece of information that I hope helps tighten the cluster**** of Mass Murderer, movement, and targets that I expect to go on during this game by helping track who was where. It is a minor aid in confirming night target claims.

Do people have to use night actions?

Do people have to use night actions?

No. But if they wish to end night sooner they need to send in that they plan to take no action. If they do not take action they will not move unless they are manipulated by the Witch.

I for one think this is a grand idea and the OP is clearly a ravishing young man with a brain capacity that exceeds that of Stephen Hawking.

So stopping a target from moving does not prevent them from using their night action?

Doctor: Don't worry, town, I'll heal you from my house! While having sex!

What a badass doctor.

Days will always end when they were planned to end, even if night is cut short.

I don't like this. It just encourages scum to wait until the deadline to submit their night actions.

I am cycling days/nights at a convenient time. I do not plan on progressively moving that earlier. Worst case scenario- everything goes as it is planned with no adjustments.

Since all other feedback messages are listed, why isn't the detective's results feedback message listed?

So a "movement roleblock" is basically a full roleblock that stops the target's action AND movement, and an "action roleblock" still allows them to move but not do anything, like a citizen. Is that correct?

How exactly is the jester supposed to submit his target in his last will? Does it have to be a clear and specific statement, or can it be obscured?

Doctor - You will heal someone if they are attacked by Slenderman. You will not have to die to do so.
I don't really understand the bold bit. Is the doctor immune to the slenderman?

While an explanation was given in this thread, dat bold sentence is not a properly structured English sentence. Fix or no MVH.

I think that the doctor doesn't have to die to the MM to heal someone, but he will still die if the MM targets him and he does no action.

Which kinda makes him immune.

1: Adding.
2: Movement role blocks are intended to be used to potentially protect from people running into slenderman. People may use actions but remain at their own house in terms of where they will take damage from Slenderman.
3: The Jester's target must be clear. The exact name. This is to leave no question, and if the target is scum it will be clear he lived.
4: I'm not certain why I included that bit. It means little to nothing.
5: Fixed.

The only event in which a successful doctor heal would result in the doctor getting hit by the slenderman is when his target doesn't move (or is roleblocked) and is thus attacked by the slenderman directly.

If it's desired to let the heal go through in that rare case, the doctor doesn't need to be made immune but heals can just be put before the slenderman in the OoO. Meaning the doctor dies, but his heal target does not.

An immune doctor would be OP.

Bearing that in mind..

Approved.

Thank you. Doctor moving to before Slenderman. Wasn't immune, that was just awful wording.
