Problem with FM

So, I've just tried to open my S-FM Prison Break thread (it was closed due to the tag lynch), but it shows me an error.
Once the thread is opened, system watches the votecount and sees that there are enough votes to lynch (as there is no resetcount tag right now). It closes the thread and posts lynch message again.

You did try [resetcount][/resetcount?

I'm not sure if it instantly closes it upon being opened but I think you gotta use the reset vote tags in your OP to fix it.

I had no time at all. It shows that the thread has been open, wait for redirection and then the error appears and the thread is closed again.
I have no possibility to resetcount.

I've experimented around and from what I could find, the issue is that the host has no ability of editing or posting once the thread has been locked.
This prevents the use of reseting votes. I've done other experiments like Private Messaging but I only get the PM returned.

All I can say is, either make a new thread or get support from the staff. :push:
A permanent fix would be giving the host ability to post in a locked thread only in the FM forums. (To prevent spam-exploiting elsewhere)

Strangely enough, other hosts don't seem to have an issue. Is it related to usergroup?

Oops had to make something that was so complex that only he would be able to fix it.
Otherwise we would overthrow him and ban his IP.

If you were able to remove the VOTE tags in the day one and day two opening posts, he could probably open it without it closing on him.

I think the TC must be the one that posts the resetcount or it won't work.

I'll try again but I tried breaking the vote tags in the original thread and then re-opening it and it didn't seem to work. I also can't find the lynch count tag anywhere or I'd change that.

We're good enough to count vote tags, so leave that to us.

I think it's stupid that the vote system doesn't work too well for hosts "currently."

I think you just needed to remove the lynch tags in your latest day post to fix it tbh.

1. Edit latest lynch # tags to say 9000 votes
2. Refresh page
3. Confirm new lynch requirement in vote count
4. Re-open thread.

However, it's allowed to post a new thread for a new day/night cycle. It's recommended if you use the new voting system.
