I feel like this, in addition to the already in place rules, would help appeals go smoother/with less tension.

I would suggest:

1. Only the reported user can Appeal the ruling.

2. The Appeal must have well reasoned logic/evidence of their innocence.

3. Be Professional.

I completely agree, too many time have I seen people who go send their friends to appeal for them.

If they actually want to appeal a report, they need to not be lazy and go do it themselves.

Like I said in that "mini-rant," I'm on the fence about letting other people help in appeals.

Sometimes, people actually do introduce good evidence (other replays, screenshots, etc.) that help to prove someone innocent. Other times, they just clutter up the thread and get in the way.

Hence on the fence; there are advantages and disadvantages.

If anyone is going to make a decision on this, it should be Raptor.
