It's 3 benign neutrals, not evil neutrals.

I'm sorry if I sound mad or trolling or anything, I'm really not
Even though it's benign neutral most of the time they won't side with town, especially with possible roles such as mutagen

Student and amnesiac can become town.
Slaver is like a cult, but you kill him, they become town again.
Day 1 is not troll day, anymore.
There are no citizens.

True but town is still in a very disfavored position. Considering 1 night is all it takes to lose majority

The objective with this save is to make both the Mafia and the Town have to use their collective intellect to achieve victory. Town is usually stacked, either with to many PR roles or with too many members. Scum often attack one another and mislynches happen way to often.

Town need to start using their head some more, based on the recent plays of SFMs only, and stop trolling d1.
This type of setup puts town in those hard spots while not completely ridding them of victory.

You know that feeling when you get victory for town through your brain and use of words?
Exactly like that is this save, town only.

Their just filler for RP.
Originally I was going to use random'd names but after seeing the similarities I decided to steal a page from Appley's book ;)

What happens if a student picks a neutral with a special victory condition as his mentor (like amnesiac, student, executioner or jester) as his mentor and that mentor dies without completing the objective? (considering your student doesn't assume his master's role)

What happens if the slaver tries to recruit a neutral? Any feedback?

Does the bodyguard pierce immunity (i.e. does it kill veterans?)

Does the mass murderer kill people who don't move? (roleblocked/jailed/no action submitted)

Is jailing counted as a visitation?

Can the arsonist incinerate at any given moment during the day? Will the victim be revealed? Does incineration affect his ability to douse the next night?

The next night, an injected player's action kills their target (in addition to | in replacement of) any original effects their action would have

Which is it? Or is it different depending on the role? If so, clarify what happens for each role.

Needs rule to prohibit editing posts.

I'm personally not a fan of your idea to force people to lynch in some separate night chat before actions can be used because I think the game will revolve entirely around manipulating that mechanic rather than applying strategies for forum mafia as we know it. People will focus entirely on their extra condition to be able to start using their abilities and most reads will be based on that alone. There seems to be little incentive to do much in day chat. It's highly experimental and far from simple. This is personal taste however, so you can use the system if you want.

I'd recommend disabling last wills and death notes if you proceed using this vaults mechanic.

The Student, having chosen a Neutral {Jester/Executioner/Amesniac} who then dies prematurely, is tasked with surviving the game.

What happens if the slaver tries to recruit a neutral? Any feedback?

Failed to enslave

Does the bodyguard pierce immunity (i.e. does it kill veterans?)

Yes

Does the mass murderer kill people who don't move? (roleblocked/jailed/no action submitted)

Is jailing counted as a visitation?

No

Can the arsonist incinerate at any given moment during the day? Will the victim be revealed? Does incineration affect his ability to douse the next night?

Will create some

The reason for this experiment into my vault mechanics is to add another layer of thinking and not blindly follow someone. I want my participants to think for themselves and create elaborate, or simple, ways on manipulation of both mechanics and other people's thoughts in order to obtain victory. I want out of the box thinking and non-normal strategies to be used. (Also the offsite vault chat will be anon.)

I know that this is a large risk im taking with my setup but I am growing tired of see-ing, within the newer people of FMs, the usual bland. I hardly see anyone taking incentive to create persona's that could, in scum view, hinder the towns progress with scum hunting; with town view, trap scum into making mistakes.

All I see within the games today is the usual scum blending, Town sheeping, citizen/scum lurking. I hope to rectify that in this game.

Who is notified? Target, slaver or both?

Do the slaver's slaves know each other's identities?

Waiting for the rule addition about editing posts and clarification of mutagen effects as requested in the first review (I hope you didn't miss those huge red comic sans letters... reading inside your own quote generally isn't a good idea if someone else might have quotes in their post too :p).

done sry.
I think that the Mutagen's mechanics is clear now.

BorkBot
February 9th, 2013, 04:16 PM
So a doctor who gets infected with the mutagen is awesome, and a bodyguard will kill himself for defending his target from himself?

Are there any roles that self visit and suicide as a result of the mutagen? (veteran, arsonist, ...)

Can the mass murderer self visit?

I can answer that one.. yes.

But you probably won't notice it until the host handles the "day event," just like with a mayor reveal.

Just a friendly reminder to you Damus: if you use an arsonist and a day burn happens, don't forget to update the # of votes required to lynch.
