An option to disable or enable holiday effects

Preferably saved as a user preference setting or something, the snow is cool and all but it has been bugging up for me,freezing in the middle of the page or glitching chrome.

It shouldn't be a forced effect.

Personally, I really like the holiday effects, but it makes my laptop overheat. What a nice laptop: it sees the snow and tries to make sure I'm warm enough :P
