Apparently our efforts to curb the hacking spread with a zero tolerance rule have failed thus the following will now occur:

All players caught using the hack (really not hard to find) will be immediately and irrevocably permabanned
All players caught advertising the hack will be immediately and irrevocably permabanned (IN OR OUT OF GAMES)
The threshold of evidence will now be considered "lax" screenshots by multiple people of an individual advertising or using the hack are acceptable for ban status.

They are also claiming they have bypassed our ban functionality, this is still not the case thankfully.

You could not operate this hack / advertise it without knowing.

A rare chance of a family member doing a prank, I'd guess.

No, this isn't like casually game-throwing. There are a lot of steps and a lot of things you'd be extremely aware of while doing in order to do this.

So you finally admit you are a man. :o

Anyway, a monkey would be aware of using it.

Like creed said, this process requires multiple programs to be open, multiple steps in terms of what you have to input, and is generally pretty in-depth.

There is 0 chance that you could do this "accidentally." You'd have more luck claiming you "accidentally" stabbed your ex 2000 times in the chest.

Is there any counter measure in the game's script to reduce the amount of loopholes the hack may exploit?

We're working on something, but it's a difficult problem. That's all I'm going to publicly say on our efforts to counter it.

0 tolerance seems like a far better solution. After all, you might win ONE game by hacking, but then you'll never play again.

Agreed, the staff team should NOT give information of this hack.
Only me.

This has to do with ANY hacking to get an unfair advantage. There may or may not be specific hacks that we are hoping to eliminate with this, but ANY hacking will result in permaban if you are caught (except bank hacking, which still gets a point ban).

Could someone at least hint at how this hack affects others so we might report potential hack users? I have heard of this so called hacking plenty of times, but just don't know what the hack does so I don't know what to look out for.

Primarily it's a role reveal hack, specifically affecting Mafia, Cult, and Masons

It's very easy to spot. Just look for the Jester who knows all scum roles, etc.

So, basically granting mod powers to regular users. Nice :push:

Does it really matter what these people are doing in this hack?
You shouldn't be specifically looking for one type of hacker and instead reporting any hackers you see and letting the mods worry about the people hacking in whatever way this hack runs.

I like how people keep asking for specifics on how it works... from the mod staff that is trying to contain it.

No. If you use any hacks and we catch you, permaban, no appeal.

From now on, posting anywhere on this site asking about how the hacks work or where to find them = 24 hour ban for first offense.

Don't make me keep infracting and deleting posts in this topic please.
