the mod for this section is selected by the community in a poll
first we have a poll in which you can elect others (not yourself), and then there will be a public voting poll in which you choose the mod(s)
a lair mod badge could be a fun thing as well.

community driven crib, moderated by the community, for the community

mods are only allowed in if the community votes them in as mod for the lair

Two issues with this, though the first can probably be fixed:
1) Moderators have too much power to be given to community-voted people.
2) Admins would still be able to see.

the mods of the lair only have the power of closing threads and stickying threads in-side of the lair. it wouldn't be near as goodo as a green mod. and I don't really mind amdins seeing it as long as they only take action if shit goes down hard.

and CJ got deleted so I think there is a need for this. it could be a replacement for CJ without the personal attacks. it would have some rules like GD but a bit less.

might that be a good idea?
