Special Mechanics

2 Boxes will be revealed each day
Each box contains 3 special effects
Players will vote for the box
The selected box will activate 1 of it's 3 special effects
Godfather can control the action of their teammates
Mafia can not attack night 1, The evil neutral however, can



List of Special Effects

Rampant Worker: Citizens will gain an ability to roleblock a target the next night
Psionic Storm: 3 People will be randomly charged
Meteor Storm: A person will be randomly killed
Solar Eclispe: Day will be 1/2 of the normal time
Ammunition: 1 Town and 1 Non Town will gain a one shot gun
Supplies: Roles with a limited charge ( Jailor, Mason Leader, Vigilante ) will restore their charge
Hallucinating Smoke: 3 People will be drugged
Propaganda: 2 Lynches can be carried out that day
What Happened?: 1 person will randomly turn into an Amnesiac

Rules
1. All actions must be PM'd directly to the host
2. Votes will be using the new system
3. Questions asked in PM will be replied in PM
4. Day and Night will last 24 Hours
4.1 Night will be accelerated if everybody submits their FINAL night action
4.2 Day can be skipped if everybody votes to do so
4.3 Actions must be sent 1 hour before night end/day end
5. No editing of posts
6. A hammer vote locks the tally
7. Clues might or might not be given in the death descriptions, the host will never confirm any of the clues
8. Lying about game mechanics is allowed, but the host will never lie when asked
9. If a player lies about night feedback/host mistakes, it is up to the rest of the player whether to believe it or not. The host will not deny/confirm anything but will surely notify the player if the host makes a mistake

Mafia

Mafioso

You can be sent for the kill


Consort

You can roleblock a target
You are not informed of roleblock immunity
You are not immune to roleblocks


Consigliere

You can detect exact roles of a target


Blackmailer

You can silence a target
Your target can not speak, but can vote thrice


Drug Dealer

You can drug a target: A fake roleblock, A fake bus driving, A fake witching, A fake received gun, A fake attacked+healed


Fabricator

You can permanently alter the last will and role of a target
You can use your ability 2 times


Grave Robber

You can rob a grave of a dead target, gaining his/her ability, if any
You can collect the ability of different players
You can use your ability 3 times


Janitor

You can erase the last will and role of a target, if he is killed at the same night
You can use your ability 3 times


Framer

You can frame a target as an investigative pairing of your choosing
You can deframe mafia as non suspicious, the investigative pairing will not be altered



Evil Neutral

Cult Leader

You can recruit a target into your cult
You will gain a night chat with your cult
The maximum cult size is five members
You can recruit every night
You can not recruit mafia
You have 1 auto-vest


Serial Killer

You can kill a target at night
You kill roleblockers
Your kill pierces through immunity
You have 1 auto-vest


Arsonist

You can douse a target or burn all previously doused
Your burning pierces through immunity and healing
You have 1 auto-vest


Electro Maniac

You can charge 2 targets at night
Charged targets will die when they are charged again or when they visit or is visited by another charged player
You have 1 auto-vest


Spree Killer

You can visit a target, killing everyone who visits him and the target
Your target will not be killed if they visit someone else
You can target yourself
You have 1 auto-vest


Benign Neutral

Amnesiac

You can remember a role from the graveyard
It will be shown that an amnesiac have remembered a role, but the role will not be shown


Survivor

You have 4 vests


Jester

You can annoy a target, the target will not be notified
2 targets will die from Jester Grief


Executioner

You are immune to attacks
You become a Jester at failure



Student

You can choose a mentor
You will gain a night chat with your mentor


Town

Sheriff

You detect mafia
You detect evil neutrals
Everyone else will be shown as not suspicious


Investigator

You can check investigative pairings of your target

You can follow your target, learning who he visits
You do not bypass immunity


Lookout

You can watch a target, learning who visits him
You do not bypass immunity


Escort

You can roleblock a target at night
You are not notified of roleblock immunity
You are not immune to roleblocks


Vigilante

You can shoot a people at night
You have 3 shots
You can not shoot at the first night
You can shoot at day, but you may not shoot the following night


Jailor

You can jail a target
Jailing is a perfect roleblock
You must send the command at day
You have 2 executions
You can jail and execute even when there is a lynch


Veteran

You can go on alert
You will kill anyone who visits you while on alert
You can go on alert 3 times


Bodyguard

You can protect a target at night
You will kill the attacker of your target and you will die
You can not be healed if you die by protecting your target


Doctor

You can heal a target at night
Healing will prevent cultist conversion


Mason Leader

You can recruit a citizen at night
The citizen will become a mason and gain a night chat
You can use your ability 4 times


Coroner
[
You can examine a dead person
You will learn the true role and last will of the dead person
You will know who the dead person visits each night


Gunsmith

You can give a gun
The gun can be used alongside any action


Journalist

You can interview a target
The target will write an article that will be posted the next day
You must submit your action at day

Yes, it counts as a special kill and can not be blocked by any form of ability, including busdriving

You mean he can change their role in the graveyard like an actress, or change the death type to that of another role? (i.e. killed by a vigilante)

The blackmailer is a useless role in FM if their target is allowed to vote without restrictions, because you have all the time in the world to answer multiple choice questions.

The survivor has permanent night immunity?

Are EM targets informed of charging?

Double charge 1 target in 1 night seems a bit much and just makes it a more powerful SK. I'd recommend not allowing 2 charges to be placed on 1 person on the same night. And that self-charges don't become active until the next night.

Are ML recruit charges used up on unsuccessful recruits?

Do doctor/bodyguard prevent culting?

He can change both the role and the last will of a player permanently, not the death type, so ex: a jailor can be shown as a mafia, but the death type is still killed by mafia, and before you ask, no the fabricator can't kill on it's own while using it's ability

What happens if the cult and masons try to recruit the same person?

Isn't it a little bit hard for the survivor to win if both the town and the mafia must eliminate him?

Does the student effectively become town/mafia if they take one of them as a mentor for the purpose of the town/mafia's win condition that forces them to kill both neutrals?

just 1 tiny thing: if CL dies, does the entire cult die out, or are they just left without a leader and can't recruit anymore?
If you actually have a CL and 2 maf town will die out in a jiffy in an MFM

Town might have a bit of a difficulty, considering the possibility to lose majority in 2 nights... What do you guys think if orange and red mafia can't attack the first night?

How about adding a confirmed role called samurai i came up with a long time ago? Or a toned down version of him.
He seems fitting considering there are so many scum.

Alignment : Neutral Benign/Basic

Description: You have honed your skills as a bushi after long years of secluded training. Now you strive to walk the path of righteousness.

Goal: Bring justice, by getting rid off 2 killing roles (any alignment, even TOWN).
2 alternatives, for this goal, leave it up to discussion if this role should ever be implemented
Kill 2 People capable of killing. Your kills ignore night immunity and healing.
OR
Kill 2 People who have previously killed a person before.

Abilities:
You can kill up to 2 times.
Special Attributes:


If you kill a non killing capable role, you'll commit suicide (harakiri) the next day, without being able to use your second kill should it be still available.
You cannot be mind-controlled/roleblocked (optional: on/off)
Your kill ignores healing/night immunity. (this might be optional, but i strongly suggest it not to be, as it will make it way harder on this guy to win. Well it might earn him a shitload of points)
You automatically kill anyone who tries to kill you. (Basically inherent veteran ability, doesn't work against a jailor obviously.)


Options: as mentioned 1 recommended option 1 optional (up to debate)

Cannot be mindcontrolled / roleblocked : On/Off (Default: OFF)
Kill ignores doc heal/night immunity : On/Off (Default: OFF)
Infinite veteran style ability thing : On/Off (Default: OFF)

Investigator desc.: Loner

Killing message: The victim was cut in half by a single clean swordslash.

Harakiri message: The grief of straying from his path, drove him to his own undoing.

Comments: Harakiri can not be healed as it is a type of suicide.
Possible suggestions, since this isn't sc2 mafia.

It's a great role, but I don't think I like the goal very much, my system of killing for the mafia is that anyone can be sent for the kill, so it doesn't exactly fit into the game. Also having like 4 confirmed KPN is too hardcore for a 20 player game
