Wiki Moderators

as some may know... we aren't many people that actively (http://wiki.sc2mafia.com/en/index.php/Special:ActiveUsers) edit the Wiki (http://wiki.sc2mafia.com/en/index.php/Main_Page)... we also do have quirt a lot spam on the Wiki (http://wiki.sc2mafia.com/en/index.php/Category:Spam)... and hardly any admins (http://wiki.sc2mafia.com/en/index.php?title=Special:ListUsers&group=sysop) that actively do work to clean it up or maintain the Wiki... as i have seen over the last could of months EagleMan (http://www.sc2mafia.com/forum/member.php/3042-EagleMan) is the only one that do any admin work on the Wiki... and he can't do it all alone...

so my idea is that some more admins or moderators get added to the Wiki...

i never really liked the idea of suggesting my self for this kinda thing... but yeah i think i'd be able to help a lot...
i am also very active on the Wiki... following the Recent Changes page (http://wiki.sc2mafia.com/en/index.php/Special:RecentChanges) a lot... checking it a minimum of 2 times aday...
gotten really good with the Wiki code too... like the DynamicPageList used in the Template:RoleNavigator (http://wiki.sc2mafia.com/en/index.php/User:Deantwo#Project)...

list of things i'd like to be able to help with:
Delete old unsed pages.
Delete spam (http://wiki.sc2mafia.com/en/index.php/Category:Spam).
Block/Ban spamming bots.
Edit (semi-)protected pages.


but yeah... don't know what else to say ^^;

I think adding another moderator to the WIKI site would be a good idea, especially if promoted person has experience dealing with the WIKI.

I've actually seen Dean around for a couple years because he was on the Parasite forums where I admined, so I got no problem with it. Boss and Dean took initiative with the Wiki, and if they go crazy with power there's only so much harm they can do.

i have added all the Spam pages to the Spam Category (http://wiki.sc2mafia.com/en/index.php/Category:Spam)
i do that all the time ^^;

but yeah... it's only the Recent Chances that are being overrun... the Spamers/Bots aren't editing real pages... so the only way anyone can get to these Spam pages are if they are looking for them ^^;

that's one of the reasons i wanted more admins on the Wiki... to combat this...

in short:
no real harm done by the Spamers/Bots... just really annoying
