From the guy who came up with the -suicide command...

Basicaly, at night, non-killing mafia can type in the -kill command, which allows for them to kill suggest(much like the mafioso). Would be useful in cases when the GF is either AFK or the mafia's only killing role left the game but hasn't suicided yet. I sick of AFKers/leavers causing the rest of the mafia to be unable to night-kill:(

P.S.: I don't think anything like this has been implemented, but I'm not certain...

It would have to stricly require that the Godfather would be -able- to kill that night the -kill command vote was used. In cases where a Jailor or Escort is present, it will have to still keep it to the Godfather, or Mafioso, only. If that's kept in place, I see no issue with this idea. It can really help prevent a team from being severely handicaped because of an asshole who AFKs or quits.

Of course. This is meant to be strictly for when the mafia is able to kill, but can't due to AFKers and leavers. If GF is the only mafia killer, and hes jailed, there would still be no kill.

I see no reason why not to add this. It's a vital addition, and in some cases it can end up saving the Mafia. A night that you miss out on killing, is a night the Town becomes that much closer to winning.

This.

Seems simple to add. I am for this.

Revisiting this thread. I'm off to play a game of mafia, but apparantley there are a few unhappy people because a non-killing mafia's vote counts as just as much as mafioso. I'm not sure at all how easy it would be to modify the code, or how many people would like this, but maybe make it so that in a tie, mafioso's vote always beats non-killing mafia?

I haven't played yet, I'm just reading mafia discusion.

I had a similar idea (http://www.sc2mafia.com/forum/showthread.php/6743-Suggest-to-Kill) but mine was more of a button than a command. And yea the priority should be Godfather > Mafioso > Other roles. Otherwise mafioso becomes a citizen mafia (maybe intended)

I disagree on the priority. The Mafioso is no more "right" than anyone else.

Dark is right. Just because you're a Mafioso, doesn't mean you're 100% correct in who to kill. Based on my experience, as I said in Mafia Discussion, the Mafioso tends to be highly unobservant in Pubs.

I agree with you, but some of the pubs might not.

I can see it being otherwise in the case of no Godfather, just Mafioso.

It's just that this feature makes mafioso the "Citizen" of the mafia. Almost completely pointless essentially

Helps avoid AFK issues

Mafioso is the lowest of the ranking Mafia members. He's still able to use his -dn feature, and is the best person to take away attention from the other mafia members that make their life during the day easier, like a blackmailer or consig. His job is to protect his officers, and kill anyone who steps up to the plate against them.

Mafioso is the Citizen of the mafia. But he is also a scapegoat.
